Carnival Adventure has one of the most well-traveled histories in the fleet. Built in 2001 as Princess Cruises' Golden Princess, she visited all seven continents before transferring to P&O Cruises Australia in 2021 as Pacific Adventure. When P&O Australia wound down, she moved to Carnival Cruise Line in March 2025 and took on her current name, sailing year-round from Sydney on short coastal getaways, Great Barrier Reef voyages, and South Pacific itineraries to destinations like Vanuatu and New Caledonia. She still carries much of her original P&O-era layout and dining lineup, including Angelo's, Waterfront Restaurant, and Dragon Lady, while a dry dock planned for 2027 is expected to bring Carnival mainstays like the Fahrenheit 555 steakhouse and Bonsai Sushi Express, along with a full Carnival livery repaint, in line with sister ship Carnival Encounter.

✦ The standout feature

The EDGE Adventure Park, an outdoor activity deck with a zipline, rock-climbing wall, bridge walk, and a Titanic-style bow walk experience — one of only two Carnival ships with this feature, alongside her sister Carnival Encounter.
