Carnival Freedom is the fifth and final ship in Carnival's Conquest class, delivered in 2007 and homeported year-round in Port Canaveral, Florida. Following funnel fires in 2022 and 2024, she underwent an extensive 16-day drydock that gave her a brand-new funnel, an expanded casino, refreshed staterooms, and the patriotic Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, alongside her classic Conquest-class layout of poolside grills, a two-level dining room, and a busy Lido deck. Sailing mostly 4- to 8-night Bahamas and Caribbean itineraries, with occasional longer transatlantic and Mediterranean repositioning cruises, she's a convenient, easy-access choice for Central Florida cruisers who want dependable Carnival fun close to home.
Freedom emerged from her recent refurbishment with an all-new funnel and freshly painted red, white, and blue livery after fire damage — making her one of the most recently overhauled ships in the Conquest class, inside and out.
