Carnival Spirit
“The original Spirit-class ship — a genuine world traveler, from Alaska to Australia.”
Carnival Spirit entered service in 2001 as the first of Carnival's four Spirit-class ships, alongside sisters Miracle, Pride, and Legend. Built in Helsinki, she introduced the class's sleek, unimpeded layout and expansive glass. She's one of Carnival's most well-traveled ships by geography: Australia-based sailings from Brisbane make up much of her calendar, with a seasonal Alaska program from Seattle and San Francisco adding a second annual deployment few Carnival ships match.
The two-story Normandie Restaurant — the Spirit class's signature main dining room, large enough to seat the whole ship across two levels without a second midship dining room breaking up the deck plan.
