Rotterdam is Holland America Line's newest and most refined ship, entering service in 2021 as the third and final vessel in the Pinnacle class. Named for the line's hometown port — the seventh HAL ship to carry the name — she pairs classic maritime elegance, a two-storey atrium, and an extensive curated art collection with fresh touches like an expanded Music Walk, refreshed during an April 2026 dry dock. Rotterdam splits her year between Northern Europe, sailing round-trip from her namesake city to the Norwegian fjords, Iceland, and the Baltic capitals each summer, and the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale each winter. She's built for travellers who want a smaller, more refined ship with real destination focus rather than mega-ship spectacle.
