Margaritaville at Sea

Island vibes on short Florida getaways

Margaritaville at Sea runs casual, party-minded short cruises from Florida to the Bahamas, Key West and Mexico, with a Jimmy Buffett-inspired island atmosphere.

About Margaritaville at Sea

Founded 2016 · Casual island-party cruising on short Florida getaways

Margaritaville at Sea began in 2016 as Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line and rebranded in May 2022 after partnering with Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville brand. It is headquartered in Orlando, Florida, and focuses on short, affordable cruises with a laid-back island theme: LandShark bars, margarita-themed lounges, live music and deck parties.

The line currently runs two ships: Margaritaville at Sea Paradise, a small ship sailing two- to five-night cruises from the Port of Palm Beach to the Bahamas and Key West, and Margaritaville at Sea Islander, a larger ship sailing four- and five-night cruises from Tampa to Key West, Cozumel and Progreso. A third ship, Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber (formerly Costa Fortuna), is due to join in late 2026 and sail from Miami from January 2027.

The fare includes meals in the main dining rooms and several casual venues, coffee, tea and water, entertainment, most activities, daytime kids' clubs and the fitness center. Specialty dining such as JWB Prime Steakhouse and Far Side Sushi, plus most drinks, cost extra.
