MSC Divina
“Old-world Italian glamour at Fantasia-class scale — Sophia Loren's namesake ship.”
MSC Divina entered service in 2012 as the third Fantasia-class ship, christened by her godmother Sophia Loren. She splits her year between Caribbean sailings from Miami in winter and Western Mediterranean itineraries from Civitavecchia (Rome) in summer, giving her one of the more versatile deployment patterns in the MSC fleet. Onboard, she leans into classic Italian cruise-ship grandeur: a real stone piazza at the heart of the atrium, the two-deck Pantheon Theatre, and a proper Casino Veneziano. She's an older ship by MSC's current standards but remains a strong value pick for travellers who want a genuinely large ship without flagship pricing.
The Pantheon Theatre — a two-deck, Broadway-scale showroom with full aerial rigging — paired with Divina's real stone piazza, an atrium square finished in marble and terrazzo that anchors the ship's social life day and night.
