MSC Magnifica entered service in 2010 as the largest and newest of MSC's Musica-class ships, sister to Musica, Orchestra, and Poesia already in the fleet. Beyond her regular Mediterranean and Northern Europe summer season, she's become MSC's dedicated flagship for the annual MSC World Cruise, departing Genoa each January on a voyage of well over 130 nights, visiting more than 40 countries before returning in May — with additional embarkation points offered from Civitavecchia, Marseille, and Barcelona. It's one of the most ambitious itineraries in mainstream cruising, run back to back on the same ship year after year.
