MSC Seaside broke from traditional cruise ship design when she debuted in 2017, flipping the usual layout so the ship's widest point sits at the waterline instead of the top decks. The result is the Seaside-class signature: a sprawling Waterfront Promenade on Deck 8 that wraps the entire ship at sea level, lined with bars, restaurants and lounge seating just feet from the water. Twin glass-walled elevators and the dramatic 'Bridge of Sighs' catwalk connect the stern's pool decks with uninterrupted ocean views. Homeported in Miami, Seaside sails year-round Caribbean itineraries visiting Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC's private island, along with classic Eastern and Western Caribbean ports.
The 360° Waterfront Promenade on Deck 8 — the widest ever built on a cruise ship — puts bars, dining and lounge chairs directly at the waterline, while the glass 'Bridge of Sighs' catwalk at the stern lets you walk over open water between the aft pool decks.
