Legend of the Seas
“Royal Caribbean's fourth Icon-class ship — a Mediterranean debut before settling into Fort Lauderdale.”
Legend of the Seas is the fourth ship in Royal Caribbean's record-breaking Icon class, built at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland and entering service in July 2026. She opens with an inaugural Mediterranean season sailing from Rome (Civitavecchia), then repositions to Fort Lauderdale in November 2026 for 6-night Western Caribbean and 8-night Southern Caribbean itineraries, both of which include a stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay on every sailing. She shares Icon of the Seas' seven-neighbourhood layout and headline scale, with a redesigned waterpark as her signature addition over her sister ships.
Category 6 — a reimagined waterpark that's among the largest ever built at sea, expanding on the Thrill Island concept from Icon and Star of the Seas with new slide configurations.
