Mariner of the Seas has sailed since 2003 as one of Royal Caribbean's five Voyager-class ships, and a $120 million Royal Amplified renovation in early 2018 gave her a serious jolt of modern energy. Highlights include The Perfect Storm trio of racing and boomerang waterslides, the Sky Pad virtual-reality bungee trampoline, laser tag, an escape room, and Jamie's Italian by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. A fresh 2026 drydock at the Grand Bahama Shipyard added colorful pool-deck casitas and RFID Wow Bands for keyless stateroom entry before she returned to her long-running home of Galveston, Texas, where she offers short 4- and 5-night Western Caribbean getaways to Cozumel and Costa Maya, making her one of the most convenient options for Texas-area cruisers.
