Quantum of the Seas
“Royal Caribbean's tech-forward game-changer — skydiving, bumper cars and a jaw-dropping observation capsule.”
Quantum of the Seas broke new ground when she debuted in 2014 as the first Quantum-class ship, introducing a wave of industry firsts: RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator, the North Star glass observation capsule, and SeaPlex, the largest indoor active space at sea. She swaps a traditional theatre for Two70, a multi-purpose venue with robotic screens and aerial performers. A genuinely global ship, Quantum splits her year between Alaska cruises from Seattle and South Pacific and Queensland sailings from Brisbane, Australia, giving her one of the most varied itinerary calendars in the Royal Caribbean fleet.
The North Star — a glass observation capsule that lifts guests 300 feet above sea level on a mechanical arm for panoramic views, paired with RipCord by iFly, the first skydiving simulator at sea.
