Radiance of the Seas was the first of Royal Caribbean's Radiance-class ships when she launched in 2001, distinguished by extensive glass exteriors that flood her public spaces with natural light and ocean views. Refurbished in 2016, she now splits her year between Alaska's Inside Passage in the northern summer and Australia and New Zealand itineraries the rest of the year, making her one of the most geographically flexible ships in the fleet. At just over 2,100 guests at double occupancy, she offers a noticeably more intimate scale than Royal Caribbean's mega-ships.
Two full decks of floor-to-ceiling glass on both sides of the ship — a design signature of the Radiance class that makes her particularly well suited to scenic cruising through Alaska's glaciers and fjords.
