Rhapsody of the Seas
“Vision-class glass and calm sea days, splitting her year between Tampa and San Juan.”
Rhapsody of the Seas entered service in 1997 as the direct sister ship to Vision of the Seas, sharing the same expansive glass windows, five-deck Centrum atrium, and retractable-roof Solarium that define the class. She splits her year between winter Western Caribbean sailings from Tampa — calling at Cozumel, Costa Maya, Roatán, and Belize City — and Southern Caribbean itineraries from San Juan later in the year, reaching St. Thomas and St. Maarten. Her mid-sized, glass-forward design makes her a calmer, more intimate alternative to Royal Caribbean's newest mega-ships.
Expansive glass throughout the ship — more window area than many larger, newer ships — giving her a bright, spacious feel despite her mid-sized 78,491-gross-ton hull.
