Spectrum of the Seas
“Royal Caribbean's purpose-built Asia flagship — tech-forward thrills with a genuinely local menu.”
Spectrum of the Seas is a Quantum Ultra-class ship built specifically for the Asia-Pacific market, delivered in 2019 and sailing year-round from Shanghai and Hong Kong on short getaways and longer regional itineraries. She carries the tech-forward DNA of her Quantum-class sisters — North Star, RipCord by iFly, and SeaPlex — while adding Sky Pad, a bungee-trampoline experience, and dining venues built around Chinese regional cuisine rather than Western defaults.
Sky Pad — a VR bungee-trampoline experience unique to Spectrum — paired with Sichuan Red and hot-pot dining options that make her the most culturally tailored ship in Royal Caribbean's fleet.
