What the Princess Plus includes
Drinks up to $15 each (Princess Plus); higher on Princess Premier
- ✓Bundle, not a pure drink package — also includes Wi-Fi and crew appreciation (gratuities)
- ✓Princess Premier (~$100/day) adds a higher drink cap, specialty dining credits, and more
- ✓$5/day more on Sun Princess and Star Princess (Sphere-class ships)
Because gratuities and Wi-Fi are bundled in, Princess Plus/Premier isn't an apples-to-apples price against a pure drink package — factor in what you'd have paid for Wi-Fi and tips separately before calling it 'expensive.'

Princess Cruises drink package questions
How much is the Princess Cruises drink package?▾
The Princess Plus typically costs about $65.00 per person per day when bought before the cruise and about $70.00 if bought on board. The service charge is already included in that price. Prices change by ship, date and promotion, so check your own booking.
Is the Princess Cruises drink package worth it?▾
Only if you drink a lot. At typical bar prices, you need about 4.2 cocktails a day, every day of the cruise, for the package to pay for itself. If you drink less than that, or have port days where you will barely drink on board, paying as you go is usually cheaper. Use the calculator above with your own numbers.
