Honolulu is the one Hawaii port that feels like an actual city, and ships dock right in the middle of it — Pier 11 sits beside the Aloha Tower, putting downtown and Chinatown within walking distance. It's also the most historically layered stop in the islands: Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on US soil, is a mile away, and the Pearl Harbor National Memorial is about 20 minutes by taxi.
