Queen Mary 2
“The last true ocean liner — built for transatlantic crossings, with a planetarium and a ballroom at sea.”
Queen Mary 2 is Cunard's flagship and the only ocean liner still operating a regular scheduled transatlantic service between Europe and North America. At nearly 150,000 gross tons and 1,132 feet long, she is built with a deeper, stronger hull than a typical cruise ship so she can handle North Atlantic weather. Her signature spaces include the first planetarium at sea, the largest ballroom afloat, a theatre, a library and an art gallery. In January 2026 she made her first transit of the Panama Canal.
She is the only passenger ship built to cross the North Atlantic on a regular schedule, with the first planetarium at sea, a grand ballroom, and kennels that hold up to 22 pets on transatlantic crossings.
