Norwegian Pearl entered service in 2006 as part of NCL's Jewel-class fleet, and a major autumn 2025 drydock has kept her feeling current even as she approaches her twentieth year. The refit added Vibe Beach Club, NCL's adults-only sundeck retreat, alongside refreshed cabins and public spaces throughout the ship. Pearl spends her winters on Caribbean and Bahamas sailings from Miami and her summers cruising Alaska's Inside Passage from Seattle, giving guests two very different vacations on the same hull. At 93,530 gross tons and just under 2,400 guests, she's noticeably smaller than NCL's newest Prima-class ships, with an easy-to-navigate 15-deck layout, Freestyle dining across more than a dozen restaurants and bars, and none of the crowds that come with a 5,000-passenger megaship.
Pearl was one of the first Jewel-class ships to receive NCL's new Vibe Beach Club during her 2025 refit, adding a genuinely new adults-only retreat to a nearly two-decade-old hull without touching her classic, easy-to-navigate layout.
