Norwegian Cruise Line
Freestyle cruising — your ship, your way
Norwegian invented freestyle cruising: no fixed dining times, no formal dress codes, and more specialty restaurants than any other line. Perfect for independent travellers who want flexibility.

Norwegian Aqua
NCL's most innovative ship — home to the world's first hybrid water-coaster at sea.

Purpose-built for Alaska. Brilliant everywhere else too.

Norwegian Joy
West Coast home, world-class ship — Joy delivers year-round.

Norwegian Jade
The ship that began life as the priciest US-flagged liner ever built — now one of NCL's most far-ranging ships afloat.

Norwegian Star
NCL's original long-haul explorer — built for Iceland, the fjords, and itineraries most big ships never attempt.

Norwegian Pearl
Freshly refitted for the Vibe generation — Alaska summers, Caribbean winters, and a brand-new adults-only beach club to match.

Norwegian Jewel
The original Jewel-class ship — recently refreshed, and one of the only large ships splitting her year between the Caribbean and Bermuda.

Norwegian Spirit
One of NCL's most well-traveled ships — South Pacific, Alaska and Hawaii in a single year.

Pride of America
The only ship that circles the Hawaiian Islands year-round, every week, without leaving the state.
About Norwegian Cruise Line
Founded 1966 · Flexible freestyle cruising with maximum dining choice
Norwegian Cruise Line invented "freestyle cruising" in the late 1990s — ditching fixed dining times, assigned tables, and formal nights in favor of total flexibility. That philosophy still defines the brand: more specialty restaurants per ship than any competitor, no set schedule to build your day around, and a generally relaxed dress code throughout.
Founded in 1966, Norwegian was the first line to base a ship year-round in Hawaii and has continued to push into new territory with its Prima and Breakaway classes, which pack in go-kart tracks, multi-level ropes courses, and The Haven — Norwegian's ship-within-a-ship luxury suite enclave.
The tradeoff for all that flexibility is that Norwegian's included dining room and buffet are a smaller share of the overall culinary program than on other lines, and specialty dining fees add up quickly without a package. Itineraries cover the Caribbean, Bahamas (including Norwegian's private Great Stirrup Cay and Harvest Caye), Alaska, Mediterranean, and Northern Europe.
