Seven Seas Explorer
“Regent's first new ship in over a decade — an all-suite, 750-guest flagship launched in 2016.”
Seven Seas Explorer entered service in July 2016, christened by Charlene, Princess of Monaco, in Monte Carlo on 13 July 2016, and made her maiden voyage on 20 July 2016, a 14-night sailing from Monte Carlo to Venice. At about 55,254 gross tons she carries 750 guests in 377 suites, with 10 passenger decks, diesel-electric propulsion and a service speed of about 19 knots. Built by Fincantieri in Genoa, she was Regent's first new ship in more than ten years, and every suite has a veranda.
The ship that relaunched Regent's fleet — all-suite, all-balcony, with a two-level theater and a lavish Regent Suite.
