Silver Whisper entered service in 2001 and is a Whisper-class ship, a sister to Silver Shadow. At about 28,258 gross tons and 610 feet she carries 388 guests in 194 outside suites ranging from 287 to 1,435 square feet, about 80% with teak balconies. Her space-to-passenger ratio of 74 is exceptionally high. She was refurbished in 2018; in January 2020 she left Fort Lauderdale on a 140-day world cruise that was cut short in March 2020 by the pandemic.
