Silver Wind entered service in 1995 as the second ship of her class, a sister to Silver Cloud, and completed 30 years of service in 2025. She had a major upgrade in December 2018 and a second refurbishment in November 2021 with a strengthened ice-class hull, and is now part of Silversea's expedition fleet, carrying about 274 guests. She is about 16,800 gross tons and 512 feet long.
