Viking Sky
“A Longship that has sailed the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Baltic, Norwegian fjords and the Atlantic.”
Viking Sky began sailing on 25 February 2017 and carries 930 guests in 465 staterooms. Her typical routes include the Mediterranean, Adriatic, transatlantic crossings, the Baltic and the Norwegian fjords. In March 2019 she lost engine power off the coast of Norway in rough weather, and around 479 people were airlifted by helicopter before she was towed to Molde; an investigation found that the lubricating oil pumps stopped because of the ship's movement. She remains part of Viking's ocean fleet.
A Longship with a broad route range — Mediterranean, Adriatic, Baltic, Norwegian fjords and Atlantic crossings.
