Viking Star
“Viking's first ocean ship — the lead vessel of the Longship class.”
Viking Star entered service on 11 April 2015 as the first ocean ship Viking ever built, and the lead ship of the series that every later Viking Longship copies. She carries 930 guests in 465 staterooms, every one with a veranda, in a modern Scandinavian design, and her compact size lets her dock in smaller ports. Like all Viking ocean ships she is for adults only, has no casino, and includes one shore excursion in each port.
She is the original — the first Viking ocean ship and the template for the line's identical Longships.
