Coral Princess entered service in January 2003 as the lead ship of Princess Cruises' two-strong Coral Class, engineered to the exact Panamax dimensions required to transit the original Panama Canal locks. At 91,627 gross tons and 2,000 guests, she's one of Princess's smaller, more intimate ships, and she's built her reputation on itinerary variety rather than onboard scale: 7-night Alaska Inside Passage sailings from Vancouver and Whittier in summer, Panama Canal transits and Caribbean sailings from Fort Lauderdale in the shoulder seasons, and long, ambitious world cruise segments most years. For cruisers who prize destination and a quieter, smaller ship over mega-ship amenities, Coral Princess remains one of the most versatile vessels in the fleet.
Universe Lounge — a three-tiered showroom with a rotating stage floor, found nowhere else in the Princess fleet except sister ship Island Princess. It lets the venue reconfigure between big production shows, cabaret seating and lecture-hall layouts within minutes, and it's a favourite backdrop for Panama Canal transit-day enrichment talks.
